Maya Angelou: Poem from the Million Man March 1999  18" X 38" Acrylic on Canvas

This is an original painting that came about as a result of my involvement with the Urban Art Trail project in San Diego, CA. It contains the full content of Maya Angelou's poem which was read at the Million Man March in Washington DC. The media is acrylic on canvas, un-stretched and mounted on fabric with an African carved hangar bar. The image size is 18" X 38" and the full measurement including the backing fabric is 26" X 50".
